Should One Buy an Extended Warranty on Their Electronics Purchase?

Purchasing an electronics product, or in fact, most items will probably mean you are going to be steered by the salesperson towards buying an extended warranty to go with it. Many of us are caught up in the moment. After all, if we’ve just spent $400 what’s another $75 for an extended warranty?
