Canon’s new EOS 1000D lies at the bottom of the pyramid of cameras from Canon and competes directly with the Nikon D60. The 1000D. The camera has a rounded look which extends all the way to its buttons. You could mistaken it for a point-and-shoot if you see the camera from the rear, around its screen. The camera’s finish feels very sandy to the touch.
