Buying a phone online or over the phone gives you some extra rights as a consumer. If you have any problems with your mobile service provider, then you can complain to an independent arbitrator or ombudsman. These services are freely provided to the public, and have the power to force your mobile service provider to apologise and pay compensation in the event of any wrongdoing.
